Holistic Healthcare Practitioner, Life and Triathlon Coach
Kim is known as an "Exercise Expert" and "Weight Loss Whisperer"
She is know to be the "Go-To Person" to get answers about health information when her clients and friends have a Health Challenge.
Kim is the only Holistic Healthcare Practitioner, Life Coach and Triathlon Coach who provides frustrated and overwhelmed adults over 50 with a simple three step system to Permanently Lose the Weight, potentially Eliminate Life-Threatening Disease and Reverse the Aging Process.
How did she get to this point?
Kim has always found Joy in Play. She had a Bicycle, then a Unicycle during childhood. She was an amateur Ice Skater in middle school, Skied in high school and worked at a Roller-skating rink when she was in college. She graduated from University and worked in the TV business. This allowed her to participate in sports for fun.
In 1992, she skied, jumped, fell, tore a ligament in her knee and had surgery that night. After 1/2-year of physical therapy and rehabilitation, she started jogging and participated in a short, Sprint Distance Triathlon. She loved it and had found her Massive Obsession in life. The next year she did two Sprint Triathlons, then 5 the next year, then 8, 12 & 15. She began racing in longer races: Olympic Distance, 1/2-Ironman and finally in the Ironman Distance race.
During this time, at the suggestion of some of the people she helped participate in races, she started working as a Personal Trainer and quit the TV business to follow her passion, then got certified as a Personal Trainer from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM,) as a USA Triathlon Coach & Race Director.
She received her Master’s Degree in Kinesiology (the study of the movement of the body) in 2007. She is currently working as a Certified Holistic Healthcare Practitioner, Certified Life Coach, Certified Triathlon Coach and Certified Personal Trainer.
She has worked operations at hundreds of Triathlon (from Sprint to Ironman Distance,) Marathons, 1/2-Marathons and Cycling events. To date, Kim has completed 144 Triathlons including an Ironman and various other races. She also loves Open Water Swimming and is the President of the Cabrillo Beach Polar Bear club.
Author of 365 Days to Abundant Health
In 2015, she completed her first book, 365 Days to Abundant Health: The Little Steps to Help You Thrive which embodies her philosophy the you can Permanently Lose the Weight, potentially Eliminate Life Threatening Disease and Reverse the Aging Process by making small changes daily.
She created the Eat, Move & Think Differently Program because she saw the need to be able to help more people than just one per hour. Kim also wanted a way to help people all over America and the English-speaking parts of the world because the need is there.
